And Joseph said unto his father, They[ are] my sons, whom God hath given me in this[ place]. And he said, Bring them, I pray thee, unto me, and I will bless them.

約瑟曰、此乃天主於斯地、所賜我之二子、曰、可攜之前、我為之祝福、

“ They are the sons God has given me here,” Joseph said to his father. Then Israel said,“ Bring them to me so I may bless them.”

“ They are the sons God has given me here,” Joseph said to his father. Then Israel said,“ Bring them to me. I want to give them my blessing.”

Joseph said to his father,“ They are my sons, whom God has given me here.” And he said,“ Bring them to me, please, that I may bless them.”

“ Yes,” Joseph told him,“ these are the sons God has given me here in Egypt.” And Jacob said,“ Bring them closer to me, so I can bless them.”

And Joseph said to his father,“ They are my sons God has given me here.” So Israel said,“ Bring them to me and I will bless them.”

And Joseph said to his father,“ They are my sons, whom God has given me here.” So he said,“ Bring them to me, please, so that I may bless them.”

Joseph said to his father,“ They are my sons, whom God has given me in this place.” And he said,“ Please bring them to me, and I will bless them.”

And Joseph said unto his father, They are my sons, whom God hath given me here. And he said, Bring them, I pray thee, unto me, and I will bless them.

And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who[ are] those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.

And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring[ it] to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die.

By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped,[ leaning] upon the top of his staff.

Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel,[ saying], Because I have asked him of the LORD.

And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home.And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.

Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed[ be] every one that curseth thee, and blessed[ be] he that blesseth thee.

Moreover the sons of Obededom[ were], Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth,Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth: for God blessed him.

Lo, children[ are] an heritage of the LORD:[ and] the fruit of the womb[ is his] reward.

All these[ are] the twelve tribes of Israel: and this[ is it] that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them.

For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

All these[ were] the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

And this[ is] the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.

And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.

And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.

Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me[ are] for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

And all the people that[ were] in the gate, and the elders, said,[ We are] witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman.So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son.And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed[ be] the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.

And Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said,[ Am] I in God’s stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?

Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I[ am] a dry tree.For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose[ the things] that please me, and take hold of my covenant;Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
