這人名叫以利米勒，他妻子名叫拿俄米，他那兩個兒子名叫瑪倫和基連；都是猶大、伯利恆的以法他人；他們到了摩押鄉間，就住在那裏。

大衛是猶大伯利恆的以法他人名叫耶西者的兒子；耶西有八個兒子；當掃羅在世的日子、那人已經老邁，上了年紀。

你今天離開了我以後，在便雅憫境內、在泄撒，靠近拉結的墳墓，必遇見兩個人對你說：「你去尋找的那幾頭母驢已經找着了；看哪，你父親倒丟下了母驢的事，反而掛慮到你們，說：『我為我兒子要怎麼辦呢？』」

但是你、伯利恆以法他啊，你在猶大諸鄉村中雖然細小，將來必有一位從你那裏為我而出，在以色列中做統治者；他的根源出於亙古，出於往古之日。

以撒娶利伯加為妻的時候、正四十歲。利伯加是巴旦亞蘭的亞蘭人彼土利的女兒，是亞蘭人拉班的妹妹。

以法蓮山地有一個人屬於拉瑪地、是蘇弗人，他名叫以利加拿，是以法蓮人蘇弗的元孫，託戶的曾孫，以利戶的孫子，耶羅罕的兒子。
