“ Now then, your two sons born to you in Egypt before I came to you here will be reckoned as mine; Ephraim and Manasseh will be mine, just as Reuben and Simeon are mine.

“ Now then, two sons were born to you in Egypt. It happened before I came to you here. They will be counted as my own sons. Ephraim and Manasseh will belong to me, in the same way that Reuben and Simeon belong to me.

And now your two sons, who were born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you in Egypt, are mine; Ephraim and Manasseh shall be mine, as Reuben and Simeon are.

“ Now I am claiming as my own sons these two boys of yours, Ephraim and Manasseh, who were born here in the land of Egypt before I arrived. They will be my sons, just as Reuben and Simeon are.

Your two sons born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you in Egypt are now mine. Ephraim and Manasseh belong to me just as Reuben and Simeon do.

And now your two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, who were born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you in Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.

And now thy two sons, who were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into Egypt, are mine; Ephraim and Manasseh, even as Reuben and Simeon, shall be mine.

And now thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, which were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into Egypt,[ are] mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.

“ Now, as for your two sons, who were born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you in Egypt, they will be mine. Ephraim and Manasseh will be mine just as Reuben and Simeon are.

Now your two sons, who were born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you into Egypt, are mine; Ephraim and Manasseh, even as Reuben and Simeon, will be mine.

Now before the year of famine came, two sons were born to Joseph, whom Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera, priest of On, bore to him.Joseph named the firstborn Manasseh;“ For,” he said,“ God has made me forget all my trouble and all of my father’s household.”And he named the second Ephraim;“ For,” he said,“ God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.”

For the sons of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim, and they did not give a portion to the Levites in the land, except cities to live in, with their pasture lands for their livestock and for their property.

Now to Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, whom Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera, priest of On, bore to him.

Now therefore, apportion this land as an inheritance to the nine tribes and the half tribe of Manasseh.”

Now the sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel( for he was the firstborn, but because he defiled his father’s bed, his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph, the son of Israel; so he is not enrolled in the genealogy according to the birthright.Though Judah prevailed over his brothers, and from him came the leader, yet the birthright belonged to Joseph),

Then the lot for the sons of Joseph went from the Jordan at Jericho to the waters of Jericho on the east into the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country to Bethel.It went from Bethel to Luz, and continued to the border of the Archites at Ataroth.Then it went down westward to the territory of the Japhletites, as far as the territory of lower Beth horon even to Gezer, and it ended at the sea.The sons of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, received their inheritance.Now this was the territory of the sons of Ephraim according to their families: the border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth addar, as far as upper Beth horon.Then the border went westward at Michmethath on the north, and the border turned eastward to Taanath shiloh and continued beyond it to the east of Janoah.Then it went down from Janoah to Ataroth and to Naarah, then reached Jericho and came out at the Jordan.From Tappuah the border continued westward to the brook of Kanah, and it ended at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim according to their families,together with the cities which were set apart for the sons of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.But they did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer, so the Canaanites live in the midst of Ephraim to this day, and they became forced laborers.

The sons of Joseph by their families: Manasseh and Ephraim.The sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir fathered Gilead: of Gilead, the family of the Gileadites.These are the sons of Gilead: of Iezer, the family of the Iezerites; of Helek, the family of the Helekites;and of Asriel, the family of the Asrielites; and of Shechem, the family of the Shechemites;and of Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; and of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.Now Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, only daughters; and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.These are the families of Manasseh; and those who were numbered of them were 52,700.These are the sons of Ephraim by their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthelahites; of Becher, the family of the Becherites; of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.These are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.These are the families of the sons of Ephraim by those who were numbered of them, 32,500. These are the sons of Joseph by their families.

But now, this is what the Lord says, He who is your Creator, Jacob, And He who formed you, Israel:“ Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!

So you are to be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy; and I have singled you out from the peoples to be Mine.

Of the sons of Joseph, namely, of the sons of Ephraim, their descendants by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war,their numbered men of the tribe of Ephraim were 40,500.Of the sons of Manasseh, their descendants by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war,their numbered men of the tribe of Manasseh were 32,200.

“ And they will be Mine,” says the Lord of armies,“ on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will have compassion for them just as a man has compassion for his own son who serves him.”

And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” Says the Lord Almighty.

from the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, from the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand, from the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand,from the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand, from the tribe of Levi twelve thousand, from the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand,

of the sons of Joseph: of Ephraim, Elishama the son of Ammihud; of Manasseh, Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur;

“ Then I passed by you and saw you, and behold, you were at the time for love; so I spread My garment over you and covered your nakedness. I also swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you so that you became Mine,” declares the Lord God.

He predestined us to adoption as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
