約瑟是多結果實的樹枝，是泉旁多結果實的樹枝；他的枝條蔓越出牆。

因著信，雅各臨死的時候，祝福了約瑟的每個兒子，又倚著自己的杖頭敬拜神。

看哪，耶和華站在梯子上方，說：「我是耶和華，你父親亞伯拉罕的神、以撒的神。我必把你現在躺臥之地，賜給你和你的後裔。你的後裔必如同地上的塵土；你必向東南西北擴展；地上萬族都必因你和你的後裔而蒙福。看哪，我與你同在！你無論往哪裡去，我都會保守你，並且要把你帶回這地。我必不離棄你，直到成就了我對你所說的。」

我來到埃及你這裡之前，你在埃及地所生的以法蓮和瑪拿西這兩個兒子，現在是我的了，就像魯本和西緬是我的一樣；

耶和華救贖他僕人們的靈魂，所有投靠他的都不致承受罪責。

耶和華保守你免受一切禍患，他保守你的靈魂。

主將會救我脫離一切凶惡之事，並且救我進入他屬天的國度。願榮耀歸於他，直到永永遠遠！阿們。

這樣，其餘的人，就是所有被稱為我名下的外邦人，都會尋求主。

他在他們的一切患難中也受患難，並且他面前的使者拯救了他們。他以自己的愛和憐恤救贖了他們，在古時所有的日子裡舉起他們、背負他們。

我們的救贖主，他的名是萬軍之耶和華，他是以色列的聖者。

不要讓我們陷入試探，救我們脫離那惡者。因為國度、權柄、榮耀，全是你的，直到永遠！阿們。

我們也不可試探基督，像他們中的有些人試探了，結果就被蛇所滅。

他為我們獻上自己，是為了救贖我們脫離一切罪惡，並且潔淨我們做他自己特選的子民，做美好工作的熱心人。

那人說：「你的名字不要再叫雅各，而要叫以色列，因為你已經與神與人較力，並且得勝了。」

過了四十年，在西奈山的曠野，一位天使在荊棘火焰中向摩西顯現。摩西見了這景象，感到驚奇。正當他上前要觀看的時候，有主的聲音說：『我是你祖先的神，就是亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的神。』摩西戰戰兢兢，不敢觀看。「主對他說：『脫掉你腳上的鞋，因為你站的地方是聖地。我的子民在埃及的困苦，我確實看見了；他們的呻吟，我也聽見了；於是我下來要救他們。現在你來！我要差派你到埃及去。』「這摩西就是他們拒絕說『誰委任你做首領和審判官』的那位，神卻藉著那在荊棘中向他顯現的天使的手，差派他做首領、做救贖者。

耶和華的使者在曠野的水泉旁，就是書珥路上的水泉旁，找到了夏甲，就問：「撒萊的婢女夏甲，你從哪裡來，要到哪裡去呢？」夏甲說：「我是從我的主母撒萊面前逃出來的。」耶和華的使者對她說：「回到你的主母那裡，服在她的手下吧。」耶和華的使者又對她說：「我將使你的後裔大大增多，多得無法數清。」接著耶和華的使者對她說：「看哪，你懷了孕，將會生一個兒子，你要給他起名為以實瑪利，因為耶和華聽見了你的苦情。你這兒子為人必像野驢，他的手將與所有的人作對，所有人的手也與他作對，他將與他所有的兄弟對立而居。」夏甲就稱那對她說話的耶和華為「你是看顧的神」，因為她說：「我竟然在這裡見到了看顧我的那一位！」

也都喝了同樣的屬靈之水。原來他們所喝的是出於那隨著他們的屬靈磐石；那磐石就是基督。

不僅如此，連我們這些有聖靈為初熟果子的人，也在自己裡面呻吟嘆息，熱切等待得到兒子的名份，就是等待我們的身體得蒙救贖。

萬軍之耶和華說：「看哪，我要派遣我的使者在我前面預備道路！你們所尋求的主，必突然來到他的殿；看哪，你們所喜悅的那立約的使者，就要來到！」

我不是求你帶他們離開這世界，而是求你保守他們脫離那惡者。

神就創造了海中的巨獸和在水中群聚、活動的各樣生物，各從其類；又創造了各樣有翅膀的飛鳥，各從其類。神看這是好的。神祝福牠們說：「要繁衍增多，讓生物充滿海洋，讓飛鳥在大地上增多。」

在那夢中，神的使者對我說：『雅各！』我說：『我在這裡！』他說：『你要舉目，觀看所有與母羊交配的公羊，都是有紋、有點、有花斑的；這是因我看見了拉班對你所做的一切。我是伯特利的神，你曾在那裡膏抹了柱子，又在那裡向我許了願。現在，你要起來，離開這地，回到你本族之地！』」

耶和華的使者在敬畏耶和華的人四圍紮營，搭救他們。

我的靈魂要因耶和華而誇耀，願卑微人聽見就歡喜。
