要让这些人心灵麻木，耳朵发背，眼睛昏花，免得他们眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里明白，回心转意，就得到医治。”

拉班清早起来，亲吻外孙和女儿，给他们祝福，然后回家去了。

那时，以利已经九十八岁，眼睛因为年老而失明。

一天晚上，老眼昏花的以利正睡在自己的房里。

以利沙就撇下牛，追上以利亚说：“请你让我先回去与父母亲吻道别，再跟你走吧。”以利亚说：“你回去吧，别忘了我刚才对你做的事。”

看啊，耶和华的臂膀并非没有力量拯救，祂的耳朵并非聋得听不见。
