迦南的饥荒很严重，羊群没有草吃，所以我们到这里来寄居，求你准许仆人们住在歌珊。”

因为你把管理世人的权柄赐给了祂，使祂可以将永生赐予你交托给祂的人。

那天，扫罗的司牧长以东人多益碰巧在耶和华的会幕。

沙仑人施提莱管理沙仑的牛群。亚第莱的儿子沙法管理山谷中的牛群。以实玛利人阿比勒管理骆驼群。米仑人耶希底亚管理驴群。夏甲人雅悉管理羊群。以上这些人都是替大卫王管理产业的。

摩西和亚伦便取了一些窑里的灰，站在法老面前，摩西把灰抛向空中，埃及人和牲畜身上就开始起疱长疮。

又对他说：“我的国土就在你面前，你想住在哪里都可以。”

又在旷野建造瞭望塔，挖了许多水井，因为他在高原和平原有很多牲畜。他雇人在山区和沃野为他耕种和照料葡萄园，因为他喜爱农耕。

把你们的父亲和家眷都接到我这里。我要把埃及最好的土地赐给他们，让他们享受这里肥美的物产。吩咐你的弟兄从埃及带着车去把他们的妻子、儿女和你们的父亲接来。不要担心你们在迦南的产业，因为埃及全国的美物都是你们的。”

约瑟说：“你们的钱财如果用尽了，可以用你们的牲畜来交换粮食。”

耶和华掌管君王的心，易如支配垄沟的流水。
