我欲與祖父同墓、必攜我骨出埃及、歸葬於先人之兆。曰、惟命是聽。

我与我祖我父同睡的时候，你要将我带出埃及，葬在他们所葬的地方。”约瑟说：“我必遵着你的命而行。”

我与我祖先同睡的时候，你要将我带出埃及，把我葬在他们所葬的地方。”约瑟说：“我必遵照你的吩咐去做。”

我与我祖先长眠的时候，你要把我带出埃及，把我葬在他们的安葬之地。”约瑟说：“我必照着你的吩咐去做。”

俟我與祖父偕眠時、必攜我出埃及、葬於先人之兆、曰、必循爾命而行、

我將我將或作我欲與列祖同寢、當攜我骸骨出伊及、葬我於先人之墓、曰、必遵父命而行、

but when I rest with my fathers, carry me out of Egypt and bury me where they are buried.”“ I will do as you say,” he said.

When I join the members of my family who have already died, carry me out of Egypt. Bury me where they are buried.”“ I’ll do exactly as you say,” Joseph said.

but let me lie with my fathers. Carry me out of Egypt and bury me in their burying place.” He answered,“ I will do as you have said.”

When I die, please take my body out of Egypt and bury me with my ancestors.” So Joseph promised,“ I will do as you ask.”

When I rest with my ancestors, carry me away from Egypt and bury me in their burial place.” Joseph answered,“ I will do what you have asked.”

but when I lie down with my fathers, you shall carry me out of Egypt and bury me in their burial place.” And he said,“ I will do as you have said.”

but let me lie with my fathers; you shall carry me out of Egypt and bury me in their burial place.” And he said,“ I will do as you have said.”

but when I sleep with my fathers, thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their burying- place. And he said, I will do as thou hast said.

When I rest with my fathers, carry me away from Egypt and bury me in their burial place.” Joseph answered,“ I will do what you have asked.”

But I will lie with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their buryingplace. And he said, I will do as thou hast said.

父命之曰、我將返本、當葬我於赫人以弗崙田中之穴、附吾祖父側。昔亞伯拉罕自赫人以弗崙購迦南地慢哩相對麥比拉田之穴、以為塚地。族人於斯土葬亞伯拉罕、及其妻撒拉、亦葬以撒及其妻利百加、我亦葬利亞。其田與穴、購自赫人。

其子以撒以實馬利葬之於麥比拉穴、與慢哩相對、即赫人鎖轄子以弗崙之田、昔亞伯拉罕所購者、其妻撒拉亦葬於此。○

厥後亞伯拉罕葬其妻撒拉、在迦南地、慢哩相對麥比拉田之穴。

吾父臨沒時、使我發誓、必葬之於迦南地所備之墓、容我往彼、葬父而返。法老傳諭、謂約瑟曰、爾父既令汝發誓、可往葬之。○約瑟遂往葬父、法老之臣工侍御、暨埃及長老偕行。約瑟眷聚兄弟族人俱往、獨留孩稚牛羊於坷山。車馬同行、大眾成隊、至約但東亞達禾場、哭之甚哀、惟約瑟為父悲哀七日。迦南居民、見其在亞達禾場悲哀、則曰、埃及人大哀、故稱約但東之地曰亞伯麥西。雅各眾子循父命而行、歸父骨至迦南、葬於麥比拉田之穴、與慢哩相對、昔亞伯拉罕購自赫人以弗崙之塚地。約瑟葬父既畢、則與昆弟偕送葬者咸歸埃及。

於是雅各及我列祖、咸往埃及終焉、反葬敘劍之墓、乃敘劍之哈抹子孫之地、亞伯拉罕以金買之者、

約瑟使以色列族發誓、云、上帝必眷顧爾、爾當攜我骨出於是邦。

奏王曰、願王千歲、我之故城、先人之兆在焉、迄今土地荒蕪、邑門已燬、焉得不憂。

遂告王曰、如王樂施恩於我、請遣臣僕、至猶大地祖墓之邑、俾我得以復建。

容臣旋歸、死於故邑、葬於父母墓側、爾之臣僕金罕、可與王偕、任意以行可也。

乃復至此、在耶和華所禁之處、食餅飲水、故爾尸骸、不得與父同葬。
