When the money from the lands of Egypt and Canaan was used up, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said,“ Give us food! Why should we die before your very eyes because our money has run out?”

当埃及地和迦南地的银子用尽之后，所有的埃及人都来到约瑟那里，说：“求你给我们粮食吧！难道银子用完了，我们就要死在你面前吗？”

埃及地和迦南地的銀子都花盡了，埃及眾人都來見約瑟，說：「我們的銀子都用盡了，求你給我們糧食，我們為甚麼死在你面前呢？」

埃及地和迦南地的銀子都花光了，埃及眾人到約瑟那裏，說：「我們的銀子都用完了，求你給我們糧食吧！我們為甚麼要死在你面前呢？」

埃及地和迦南地的銀子都花完了；埃及眾人就來見約瑟說：『給我們食物吧；我們為甚麼只因銀子用盡了而當着你面前白死呢？』

當埃及地和迦南地的銀子用盡之後，所有的埃及人都來到約瑟那裡，說：「求你給我們糧食吧！難道銀子用完了，我們就要死在你面前嗎？」

埃及迦南之金已盡、埃及人詣約瑟曰、金盡矣、請予我糧、奚為斃於爾前、

民間金盡、埃及人見約瑟曰、金盡矣、請予我食、否則斃於爾前、將若何。

伊及與迦南地所有之銀俱盡、伊及民見約瑟曰、銀已盡、請予我糧、否則死於爾前、

When the money of the people of Egypt and Canaan was gone, all Egypt came to Joseph and said,“ Give us food. Why should we die before your eyes? Our money is all gone.”

When the money of the people of Egypt and Canaan was gone, all the Egyptians came to Joseph. They said,“ Give us food. What good would it do you to watch us all die? Our money is all gone.”

And when the money was all spent in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said,“ Give us food. Why should we die before your eyes? For our money is gone.”

When the people of Egypt and Canaan ran out of money, all the Egyptians came to Joseph.“ Our money is gone!” they cried.“ But please give us food, or we will die before your very eyes!”

When the silver from the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan was gone, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said,“ Give us food. Why should we die here in front of you? The silver is gone!”

When the money was all spent in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph saying,“ Give us food, for why should we die in your presence? For our money is gone.”

So when the money failed in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said,“ Give us bread, for why should we die in your presence? For the money has failed.”

And when the money was all spent in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for our money faileth.

When the money from the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan was gone, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said,“ Give us food. Why should we die here in front of you? The money is gone!”

And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.

When the money was all spent in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph, and said,“ Give us bread, for why should we die in your presence? For our money fails.”

Now what do you have at your disposal? Give me five loaves of bread, or whatever can be found.”

He said to the men of Succoth,“ Give some loaves of bread to the men who are following me, because they are exhausted. I am chasing Zebah and Zalmunna, the kings of Midian.”

Give us today our daily bread,

When that year was over, they came to him the next year and said to him,“ We cannot hide from our lord that the money is used up and the livestock and the animals belong to our lord. Nothing remains before our lord except our bodies and our land.Why should we die before your very eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land in exchange for food, and we, with our land, will become Pharaoh’s slaves. Give us seed that we may live and not die. Then the land will not become desolate.”

Ask your own servants; they can tell you! May my servants find favor in your sight, for we have come at the time of a holiday. Please provide us– your servants and your son David– with whatever you can spare.”

Trust in the LORD and do what is right! Settle in the land and maintain your integrity!

When you gather in the crop, give one-fifth of it to Pharaoh, and the rest will be yours for seed for the fields and for you to eat, including those in your households and your little children.”

He went up from there to Penuel and made the same request. The men of Penuel responded the same way the men of Succoth had.

This is the person who will live in a secure place; he will find safety in the rocky, mountain strongholds; he will have food and a constant supply of water.
