现在我吩咐你们要这样行：从埃及地带着车辆去，把你们的孩子和妻子，并你们的父亲都搬来。

他们便将约瑟对他们说的一切话都告诉了他。他们父亲雅各又看见约瑟打发来接他的车辆，心就苏醒了。

法老就召摩西来，说：“你们去侍奉耶和华；只是你们的羊群牛群要留下；你们的妇人孩子可以和你们同去。”

我们的牲畜也要带去，连一蹄也不留下；因为我们要从其中取出来，侍奉耶和华我们的神。我们未到那里，还不知道用什么侍奉耶和华。”

于是雅各下了埃及，后来他和我们的祖宗都死在那里；

雅各起来，使他的儿子和妻子都骑上骆驼，又带着他在巴旦亚兰所得的一切牲畜和财物，往迦南地、他父亲以撒那里去了。
