“ I am God, the God of your father,” he said.“ Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

“ I am God. I am the God of your father,” he said.“ Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt. There I will make you into a great nation.

Then he said,“ I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make you into a great nation.

“ I am God, the God of your father,” the voice said.“ Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make your family into a great nation.

God said,“ I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

Then He said,“ I am God, the God of your father; do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

So He said,“ I am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there.

And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

God said,“ I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

And he said, I[ am] God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

He said,“ I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

He said,“ I am God, the God of your father. Don’t be afraid to go down into Egypt, for there I will make of you a great nation.

Then you shall declare before the Lord your God:“ My father was a wandering Aramean, and he went down into Egypt with a few people and lived there and became a great nation, powerful and numerous. (niv)

“ I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. (niv)

And God said to him,“ I am God Almighty; be fruitful and increase in number. A nation and a community of nations will come from you, and kings will be among your descendants. (niv)

I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, (niv)

There above it stood the Lord, and he said:“ I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying.Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring. (niv)

Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him. (niv)

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (niv)

But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel:“ Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. (niv)

Now the Israelites settled in Egypt in the region of Goshen. They acquired property there and were fruitful and increased greatly in number. (niv)

Your ancestors who went down into Egypt were seventy in all, and now the Lord your God has made you as numerous as the stars in the sky. (niv)

“ As the time drew near for God to fulfill his promise to Abraham, the number of our people in Egypt had greatly increased. (niv)

but the Israelites were exceedingly fruitful; they multiplied greatly, increased in numbers and became so numerous that the land was filled with them.Then a new king, to whom Joseph meant nothing, came to power in Egypt.“ Look,” he said to his people,“ the Israelites have become far too numerous for us.Come, we must deal shrewdly with them or they will become even more numerous and, if war breaks out, will join our enemies, fight against us and leave the country.” (niv)

Then the Lord said to him,“ Know for certain that for four hundred years your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own and that they will be enslaved and mistreated there. (niv)

and said,‘ Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.’ (niv)

The Lord appeared to Isaac and said,“ Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live.Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. For to you and your descendants I will give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham. (niv)

The Lord your God has increased your numbers so that today you are as numerous as the stars in the sky. (niv)

All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. (niv)

After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision:“ Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.” (niv)

Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, took an oath to reassure them and their men.“ Do not be afraid to serve the Babylonians,” he said.“ Settle down in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it will go well with you. (niv)
