They told him,“ Joseph is still alive! In fact, he is ruler of all Egypt.” Jacob was stunned; he did not believe them.

They told him,“ Joseph is still alive! In fact, he is ruler of the whole land of Egypt.” Jacob was shocked. He didn’t believe them.

And they told him,“ Joseph is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt.” And his heart became numb, for he did not believe them.

“ Joseph is still alive!” they told him.“ And he is governor of all the land of Egypt!” Jacob was stunned at the news— he couldn’t believe it.

They said,“ Joseph is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt!” Jacob was stunned, for he did not believe them.

And they told him, saying,“ Joseph is still alive, and indeed he is ruler over all the land of Egypt.” But he was stunned, for he did not believe them.

使徒以为这些话是无稽之谈，就不相信。

即使我呼求，他也回答我，我还是不信他会垂听我的声音。

王立他执掌朝政，管理王一切所有的，

我向他们微笑，他们也不敢相信；他们珍惜我脸上的光。

这样看来，差派我到这里来的，不是你们，而是神。他立我作法老之父，作他全家之主，又作全埃及地的首相。你们要赶快上到我父亲那里去，对他说：‘你的儿子约瑟这样说：神立我作了全埃及的主；请你下到我这里来，不要耽延。

他们的父亲雅各对他们说：“你们总是使我丧失儿子：约瑟没有了，西缅也没有了，你们还要把便雅悯带走；每一件事都是针对我。”

说：“主果然复活了，已经向西门显现了。”

他们欢喜到不敢相信，并且很惊奇。耶稣说：“你们这里有什么吃的没有？”

雅各说：“我的儿子不可与你们一同下去，因为他的哥哥死了，只剩下他一个；如果他在你们所走的路上遇到不幸，你们就使我这白发老人愁愁苦苦地下阴间去了。”
