Then he sent his brothers away, and as they were leaving he said to them,“ Don’t quarrel on the way!”

當念其行、敬而愛之、亦當相睦、

爾惟潔淨、為上帝所選所愛之民、故當矜憫、仁慈、謙讓、溫柔、忍耐、倘有嫌隙、宜相恕相赦、基督赦爾罪、爾當如是焉、

昆弟同居、日相敦睦、盡美盡善兮。譬彼香膏、沐亞倫首、流於厥鬚、延及衣襜兮。譬彼零露、遍於黑門、降於郇山兮、在彼耶和華錫福、永生靡暨兮。

我示爾以新誡、即爾相愛是也、故爾宜相愛、猶我愛爾焉、爾若相愛、眾識爾為我徒、○

勿乖僻、忿怒、諠譟、訕謗、暴戾、彼此仁愛、惠心、上帝緣基督赦爾罪、爾當互相赦罪焉、

故宜和衷相愛、同心合志、以暢我樂焉、勿結朋黨、勿尚虛榮、自卑以尊人、勿務利己、亦務利人、必體基督耶穌心、

流便欲援之歸父、故曰、勿流其血、勿害其身、曠野有井、投之於中可也。○
