Then he sent his brothers away, and as they were leaving he said to them,“ Don’t quarrel on the way!”

又因他們所做的工作，要以愛心格外尊重他們。你們也要彼此和睦。

他們彼此說：「我們在弟弟身上實在犯了罪。他哀求我們的時候，我們看見他的痛苦，卻不肯聽，所以這場苦難臨到我們。」呂便回答他們說：「我不是對你們說過，不可傷害那孩子嗎？只是你們不肯聽，看哪，他的血在追討了。」

所以，你們既是神的選民，聖潔、蒙愛的人，要穿上憐憫、恩慈、謙虛、溫柔和忍耐。倘若這人與那人有嫌隙，總要彼此容忍，彼此饒恕；主怎樣饒恕了你們，你們也要怎樣饒恕人。

看哪，弟兄和睦同住是何等的善，何等的美！這好比那貴重的油澆在亞倫的頭上，流到鬍鬚，又流到他的衣襟；又好比黑門的甘露降在錫安山；因為在那裏有耶和華所命定的福，就是永遠的生命。

我賜給你們一條新命令，乃是叫你們彼此相愛；我怎樣愛你們，你們也要怎樣彼此相愛。你們若彼此相愛，眾人因此就認出你們是我的門徒了。」

一切苦毒、憤怒、惱恨、嚷鬧、毀謗，和一切的惡毒都要從你們中間除掉。要仁慈相待，存憐憫的心，彼此饒恕，正如神在基督裏饒恕了你們一樣。

你們就要意志相同，愛心相同，有一致的心思，一致的想法，使我的喜樂得以滿足。凡事不可自私自利，不可貪圖虛榮；只要心存謙卑，各人看別人比自己強。各人不要單顧自己的事，也要顧別人的事。你們當以基督耶穌的心為心：

呂便又對他們說：「不可流他的血，可以把他丟在這曠野的坑裏，不可下手害他。」呂便要救他脫離他們的手，把他還給他父親。
