So he sent his brothers away, and as they departed, he said to them,“ Do not quarrel on the journey.”

Now justice for his blood is required.”

So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience;bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to live together in unity!It is like the precious oil on the head, Running down upon the beard, As on Aaron’s beard, The oil which ran down upon the edge of his robes.It is like the dew of Hermon Coming down upon the mountains of Zion; For the Lord commanded the blessing there— life forever.

I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another.”

All bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and slander must be removed from you, along with all malice.Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility consider one another as more important than yourselves;do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,

Then Reuben said to them,“ Shed no blood. Throw him into this pit that is in the wilderness, but do not lay a hand on him”— so that later he might rescue him out of their hands, to return him to his father.
