约瑟送弟兄们回去，嘱咐他们路上不要争吵。

于是约瑟打发他弟兄们回去，又对他们说：“你们不要在路上相争。”

Then he sent his brothers away, and as they were leaving he said to them,“ Don’t quarrel on the way!”

因为他们的工作，你们要怀着爱心格外敬重他们。你们要彼此和睦相处。

彼此议论说：“我们一定是在遭报应。从前我们的弟弟苦苦地哀求我们，我们却不理会，现在这场痛苦临到我们了。”吕便说：“我不是劝你们不要犯罪害那孩子吗？你们不听，现在我们必须偿还血债了。”

所以，你们既然是上帝所拣选的，是圣洁、蒙爱的人，就要心存怜悯、恩慈、谦虚、温柔和忍耐。倘若彼此之间有怨言，总要互相宽容，彼此饶恕，主怎样饶恕你们，你们也要照样饶恕他人。

看啊，弟兄和睦相处，多么美好，多么快乐！这就像珍贵的膏油倒在亚伦头上，流到他的胡须，又流到他的衣襟；又像黑门的甘露降在锡安山上。那里有耶和华所赐的福气，就是永远的生命。

我赐给你们一条新命令——你们要彼此相爱。我怎样爱你们，你们也要怎样彼此相爱。你们如果彼此相爱，世人就会认出你们是我的门徒。”

要从你们当中除掉一切的苦毒、恼恨、怒气、争吵、毁谤和邪恶。总要以恩慈、怜悯的心彼此相待，要互相饶恕，正如上帝在基督里饶恕了你们一样。

就要同心合意，彼此相爱，灵里合一，思想一致，好让我的喜乐更充足。凡事不可自私自利、爱慕虚荣，要心存谦卑，看别人比自己强。各人不要只顾自己的事，也要为别人的需要着想。你们应当有基督耶稣那样的心肠。

他又说：“不要杀人流血，把他扔在这口井里吧，不要下手害他。”吕便想救约瑟，把他交回给父亲。
