Then Pharaoh said to Joseph,“ Tell your brothers,‘ Take wagons from the land of Egypt to carry your little children and your wives, and bring your father here.

“ You are also directed to tell them,‘ Do this: Take some carts from Egypt for your children and your wives, and get your father and come.

“ And here’s something else I want you to tell them. Say to them,‘ Take some carts from Egypt. Your children and your wives can use them. Get your father and come back.

And you, Joseph, are commanded to say,‘ Do this: take wagons from the land of Egypt for your little ones and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.

You are also commanded to tell them,‘ Do this: Take wagons from the land of Egypt for your dependents and your wives and bring your father here.

Now you are ordered,‘ Do this: take wagons from the land of Egypt for your little ones and for your wives, and bring your father and come.

Now you are commanded— do this: Take carts out of the land of Egypt for your little ones and your wives; bring your father and come.

So Jacob left Beersheba, and his sons took him to Egypt. They carried him and their little ones and their wives in the wagons Pharaoh had provided for them.

But when they repeated to Jacob everything Joseph had told them, and when he saw the wagons Joseph had sent to carry him, their father’s spirits revived.

So Jacob put his wives and children on camels,and he drove all his livestock in front of him. He packed all the belongings he had acquired in Paddan aram and set out for the land of Canaan, where his father, Isaac, lived.

Listen to me, all you in distant lands! Pay attention, you who are far away! The Lord called me before my birth; from within the womb he called me by name.

Kings and queens will serve you and care for all your needs. They will bow to the earth before you and lick the dust from your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord. Those who trust in me will never be put to shame.”
