寡妇若有儿女，或有孙儿女，要让儿孙先在自己家中学习行孝，报答亲恩，因为这在上帝面前是可蒙悦纳的。

埃及地都在你面前，只管让你父亲和你兄弟住在最好的地，他们可以住在歌珊地。你若知道他们中间有能干的人，就派他们看管我的牲畜。”

你们倒说：‘无论谁对父母说：我所当供奉你的已经作了奉献，就可以不孝敬他的父亲。’这就是你们藉着传统，废了上帝的话。
