I will provide for you there, because five years of famine are still to come. Otherwise you and your household and all who belong to you will become destitute.’

There I will provide everything you need. There are still five years to come when there won’t be enough food. If you don’t come down here, you and your family and everyone who belongs to you will lose everything.” ’

又謂之曰、爾誠廢天主之誡、為欲守爾之遺傳、摩西曰、敬爾父母、又曰、詈父母者、必治之死、惟爾則曰、人若對父母云、我所當奉爾者、已作歌珥班、譯即已獻天主為禮物、爾遂不許其再奉事父母、

寡婦有子孫、當學先行孝行孝或作虔敬於家、以報其親、蓋此為美事、可見納於天主前、

伊及地在爾前、可以國中膏腴之地、居爾父兄、使之居歌珊地、爾知其中有才能者、使之司我群畜、

惟爾曰、若人對父母云、爾所當得於我者、已獻為禮物、遂可不敬父母、是爾以爾遺傳而廢天主之誡矣、
