后来到了住宿的地方，我们打开袋子，看哪，各人的银子还在自己的袋口上，银子的分量一点不少。现在我们亲手把它带回来，我们手里又带了另外的银子来买粮食。我们不知道是谁把银子放在我们袋里的。”

那不可奸淫，不可杀人，不可偷盗，不可贪婪，或别的诫命，都包括在“爱邻如己”这一句话之内了。

后来他们倒空袋子，看哪，各人的银囊都在袋子里。他们和父亲看见银囊就都害怕。

“‘不可偷盗。

因为凡遵守全部律法的，只违背了一条就是违犯了所有的律法。原来那说“不可奸淫”的，也说“不可杀人”。你就是不奸淫，却杀人，也是成为违犯律法的。

手里要带双倍的银子，把退还在你们袋口的银子亲手带回去；或许那是个失误。

他说：“哪些诫命？”耶稣说：“就是不可杀人；不可奸淫；不可偷盗；不可作假见证；

“不可偷盗。

他们对他说：“我主为什么说这样的话呢？你仆人们绝不会做这样的事。

到了住宿的地方，有一个人打开袋子，要拿饲料喂驴，就看见自己的银子，看哪，仍在袋口上。

他们彼此说：“我们在弟弟身上实在犯了罪。他哀求我们的时候，我们看见他的痛苦，却不肯听，所以这场苦难临到我们。”
