此器非吾主所用以飲、而藉以卜者乎、爾行此事、是不良也、

吾主所飲之器、用以卜者、豈非此耶。爾行是、不良孰甚。

我主所飲、用以占卜者、豈非此爵乎、爾之所為實惡、

Why have you stolen my master’s silver cup, which he uses to predict the future? What a wicked thing you have done!’”

Is not this the one from which my Lord drinks, and with which he indeed practices divination? You have done evil in so doing.’”

Is not this that in which my lord drinketh, and whereby he indeed divineth? ye have done evil in so doing.

拉班对他说：“愿你看得起我，因我占卜得知，耶和华赐福给我是因你的缘故。”

“你们不可吃带血的食物。不可占卜，也不可观星象。

并使他的儿子经火，又观星象，行法术，求问招魂的和行巫术的，多行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒。

这些人正在探测吉凶，就立即抓住他的话说：“便‧哈达是王的兄弟！”王说：“你们去请他来。”便‧哈达出来到王那里，王就请他上车。

你中间不可有人使儿女经火，也不可有占卜的、观星象的、行法术的、行邪术的、施符咒的、招魂的、行巫术的和求问死人的。凡做这些事的都是耶和华所憎恶的；因这可憎恶的事，耶和华—你的上帝把他们从你面前赶出去。你要向耶和华—你的上帝作完全人。你所要赶出的那些国家都听从观星象的和占卜的，但是耶和华—你的上帝从来不准你这样做。”
