大衛就對亞比亞他說：『那一天多益在那裏、我就知道他一定會告訴掃羅的：哎，你父系全家族的性命都是我害死的。

因為依順着上帝而有的憂愁能生出不後悔的懺悔來、以至於得救；而世俗的憂愁卻能生出死亡。

弟兄們，關於長眠着的人、我們不願意你們不明白，只願意你們不憂愁、不像那些沒有指望的會外人一樣。
