And if ye take this also from me, and mischief befall him, ye shall bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.

现在你们又要把这个带去离开我，倘若他遭害，那便是你们使我白发苍苍、悲悲惨惨地下阴间去了。’

现在你们又要把这个从我面前带走。倘若他遭难，那么你们就害我白发苍苍、悲悲惨惨下阴间去了。’

要是你们把他的弟弟也带走，遇上什么意外的话，你们会使我这白发苍苍的老人凄凄惨惨地进坟墓。’

现在你们又要把这个从我面前带去，如果他遇到不幸，你们就使我这个白发老人，悲悲惨惨地下阴间去了。’

如果你们再把这个从我面前带走，要是有灾祸临到他，你们就使白发苍苍的我悲悲惨惨地下阴间去了。’

現在你們又要把這個從我面前帶走。他若遭害，那便是你們使我白髮蒼蒼，淒淒慘慘地下陰間去了。」

如果你們再把這個從我面前帶走，要是有災禍臨到他，你們就使白髮蒼蒼的我悲悲慘慘地下陰間去了。』

若亦攜此而去、設其遘害、則爾使我皓首慘然下陰府矣、

一子尚存、今爾欲攜之去、設遭災害、是使我皓然白首、淒涼歸墓。

今爾曹欲攜此子離我、設遇害、是使我皓首悲慘歸示阿勒、

If you take this one from me too and harm comes to him, you will bring my gray head down to the grave in misery.’

What if you take this one from me too and he is harmed? Then you would cause me to die as a sad old man. I would go down into the grave full of pain and suffering.’

If you take this one also from me, and harm happens to him, you will bring down my gray hairs in evil to Sheol.’

Now if you take his brother away from me, and any harm comes to him, you will send this grieving, white haired man to his grave.’

If you also take this one from me and anything happens to him, you will bring my gray hairs down to Sheol in sorrow.’

And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he is left alone: if mischief befall him by the way in the which ye go, then shall ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.

It shall come to pass, when he seeth that the lad[ is] not[ with us], that he will die: and thy servants shall bring down the gray hairs of thy servant our father with sorrow to the grave.

And Jacob their father said unto them, Me have ye bereaved[ of my children]: Joseph[ is] not, and Simeon[ is] not, and ye will take Benjamin[ away]: all these things are against me.

Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God[ is] not among us?

For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man[ that hath] no strength:

And God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved[ of my children], I am bereaved.
