And Judah said unto Israel his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not die, both we, and thou,[ and] also our little ones.

犹大对他父亲以色列说：“你若打发那孩子与我同去，我们就立刻起程，好叫我们和你，以及我们的孩子都可以存活，不至饿死。

犹大对他父亲以色列说：“请打发那少年与我同去，我们就立刻起身前往，好使我们和你，以及我们的孩童都得以存活，不至于死。

猶大對他父親以色列說：「請打發那少年與我同去，我們就立刻起身前往，好使我們和你，以及我們的孩童都得以存活，不至於死。

猶大謂父以色列曰、遣孺子與我偕、即起而往、爾我暨子女、均可延生不死、

猶大謂以色列曰、遣弟與我偕往、汝我子女、均可相保、不至死亡。

猶大謂父以色列曰、遣童子偕我、我儕即起而往、爾與我儕及我子女、皆可保全、不至死亡、

Then Judah said to Israel his father,“ Send the boy along with me and we will go at once, so that we and you and our children may live and not die.

Judah spoke to Israel his father.“ Send the boy along with me,” he said.“ We’ll go right away. Then we and you and our children will live and not die.

And Judah said to Israel his father,“ Send the boy with me, and we will arise and go, that we may live and not die, both we and you and also our little ones.

And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is corn in Egypt: get you down thither, and buy for us from thence; that we may live, and not die.

And one of his servants answered and said, Let[ some] take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city,( behold, they[ are] as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold,[ I say], they[ are] even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see.

And we said, We cannot go down: if our youngest brother be with us, then will we go down: for we may not see the man’s face, except our youngest brother[ be] with us.

Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.

If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine[ is] in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.

Let Reuben live, and not die; and let[ not] his men be few.

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

Now thou art commanded, this do ye; take you wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.

And all the house of Joseph, and his brethren, and his father’s house: only their little ones, and their flocks, and their herds, they left in the land of Goshen.

And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he is left alone: if mischief befall him by the way in the which ye go, then shall ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.

But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.
