犹大对他父亲以色列说：“请打发那少年与我同去，我们就立刻起身前往，好使我们和你，以及我们的孩童都得以存活，不至于死。

犹大又对他父亲以色列说：“你打发童子与我同去，我们就起身下去，好叫我们和你，并我们的妇人孩子，都得存活，不至于死。

犹大又对他父亲以色列说：“请派这年轻人和我同去，我们就动身前去，好叫我们和你，以及我们的孩子都得存活，不至于死。

犹大对父亲以色列说：“你就让便雅悯跟我同去吧，我们好立刻动身，这样我们一家老小才能保住性命，不致饿死。

猶大謂父以色列曰、遣孺子與我偕、即起而往、爾我暨子女、均可延生不死、

猶大謂以色列曰、遣弟與我偕往、汝我子女、均可相保、不至死亡。

猶大謂父以色列曰、遣童子偕我、我儕即起而往、爾與我儕及我子女、皆可保全、不至死亡、

Then Judah said to Israel his father,“ Send the boy along with me and we will go at once, so that we and you and our children may live and not die.

Judah spoke to Israel his father.“ Send the boy along with me,” he said.“ We’ll go right away. Then we and you and our children will live and not die.

And Judah said to Israel his father,“ Send the boy with me, and we will arise and go, that we may live and not die, both we and you and also our little ones.

Judah said to his father,“ Send the boy with me, and we will be on our way. Otherwise we will all die of starvation— and not only we, but you and our little ones.

Then Judah said to his father Israel,“ Send the boy with me. We will be on our way so that we may live and not die— neither we, nor you, nor our dependents.

So Judah said to his father Israel,“ Send the boy with me and we will arise and go, so that we may live and not die, we as well as you and our little ones.

Then Judah said to Israel his father,“ Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go, that we may live and not die, both we and you and also our little ones.

Then Judah said to his father Israel,“ Send the boy with me. We will be on our way so that we may live and not die— neither we, nor you, nor our children.

他又说：“看哪，我听说埃及有粮。你们当下到那里去，从那里为我们买粮，使我们得以存活，不至于死。”

我们就说：‘我们不能下去。要是我们最小的弟弟与我们同去，我们才下去；因为要是最小的弟弟不与我们同去的话，我们就不能见那人的面。’

现在，你们不要害怕，我必供应你们和你们的孩童。”于是约瑟安慰他们，对他们说安心话。

我必不至于死，却要存活，并要述说耶和华的作为。

现在你要受命去说：‘当这样做：从埃及地带上车辆，给你们的孩子和妻子坐，并且带着你们的父亲一起来。

还有约瑟的全家，他的兄弟们，以及他父亲的家属；只有他们的孩童和羊群、牛群留在歌珊地；

但雅各说：“我的儿子不可与你们一同下去，因为他哥哥死了，只剩下他。如果在你们所行的路上有灾祸临到他，你们就使白发苍苍的我悲悲惨惨地下阴间去了！”
