生子之母、中心如焚、告王曰、我主歟、願以生子給之、斷勿加害。其一曰、勿歸於我、勿歸於彼、剖之可也。

以法蓮乎、我安忍舍爾、以色列乎、我焉肯棄爾、豈能視爾若押馬、敗爾若西編、我回厥志、慈愛之念、頓發於中、

即大聲號泣、埃及人與法老內庭悉聞。

念爾涕泗、戀慕欲見爾、俾我暢然喜悅、

爾惟潔淨、為上帝所選所愛之民、故當矜憫、仁慈、謙讓、溫柔、忍耐、

人有恆產、見兄弟匱乏、而不開誠施與、烏能愛上帝哉、

眾大哭、抱保羅頸、接吻焉、

爾當儆醒、憶我三年不舍晝夜、涕泣以勸爾眾、

約瑟備車、往坷山迓父、見之抱頸而哭不輟。
