以法蓮是我親愛的兒子嗎？是我喜悅的孩子嗎？每逢我說話攻擊他，我必再次記念他。因此，我的心戀慕他；我必定憐憫他。”這是耶和華的宣告。

於是，約瑟伏在他弟弟便雅憫的頸項上，哭起來了；便雅憫也伏在約瑟的頸項上哭。他又與眾兄弟親吻，擁抱著他們哭。然後，他的兄弟們就跟他說話。

我是怎樣以基督耶穌的心腸，切切地想念你們眾人，這是神可以為我作證的。

所以，你們在基督裡若有甚麼鼓勵，有甚麼愛心的安慰，有甚麼靈裡的契通，有甚麼慈悲和憐憫，

耶穌看見她在哭，和她一同來的猶太人也在哭，就心裡激動，難過起來，說：“你們把他安放在哪裡？”他們說：“主啊，請來看。”耶穌哭了。於是猶太人說：“你看，他多麼愛這個人！”他們中間有人說：“他既然開了瞎子的眼睛，難道不能使這個人不死嗎？”耶穌又再心裡激動，來到墳墓前面。那墳墓是一個洞穴，洞口有塊石頭堵住。

那活孩子的母親因為愛子心切，就對王說：“我主啊，把那活的孩子給她吧，千萬不可殺死他！”另一個婦人卻說：“這孩子也不歸我，也不歸你，把他劈開吧！”

“以法蓮啊，我怎能捨棄你！以色列啊，我怎能把你交出來！我怎能對你如同押瑪，待你好像洗扁呢！我的心腸翻轉，我的憐憫發動。

於是他放聲大哭，埃及人聽到了；法老一家也聽聞這事。

一想起你流的眼淚，我就渴望見你，好叫我滿有喜樂。

所以，你們既然是神所揀選的，是聖潔、蒙愛的人，就要存憐憫的心腸、恩慈、謙卑、溫柔和忍耐。

凡有世上財物的，看見弟兄窮乏，卻硬著心腸不理，他怎能說他心裡有神的愛呢？

眾人都痛哭，抱著保羅，與他親吻。

所以你們應當警醒，記念我三年之久，晝夜不停地帶著眼淚勸戒你們各人。

約瑟預備了車，上去歌珊迎接他的父親以色列。約瑟一看見他，就伏在他的頸項上，在他的頸項上哭了很久。

怎樣服事主，凡事謙卑，常常流淚，忍受猶太人謀害的試煉。
