Judah spoke to him, however, saying,“ The man sternly warned us,‘ You shall not see my face unless your brother is with you.’

犹大对他说：“那人认真地警告我们说：‘如果你们的弟弟不与你们一起来，你们就不得见我的面。’

犹大对他说：“那人严厉地警告我们，‘要是你们的弟弟不与你们一起来，你们就不得见我的面。’

猶大對他說：「那人諄諄地告誡我們說：『你們的兄弟若不與你們同來，你們就不得見我的面。』

猶大對他說：「那人嚴厲地警告我們說：『你們的弟弟若不和你們同來，你們就不要來見我的面。』

猶大對他說：「那人嚴厲地警告我們說：『你們的弟弟若不和你們同來，你們就不要來見我的面。』

猶大說：「那人嚴厲地警告我們，『不把你們的弟弟帶來，你們就不要再來見我。』

猶大對他說：“那人認真地警告我們說：‘如果你們的弟弟不與你們一起來，你們就不得見我的面。’

猶大對他說：『那人切切地警告我們說：「除非你們的弟弟和你們一同來，你們就不能見我的面。」

猶大對他說：「那人嚴厲地警告我們，『要是你們的弟弟不與你們一起來，你們就不得見我的面。』

猶大曰、其人切告我曰、如不攜季者至、不得覿吾面、

猶大曰、其人實告我曰、如季者不來、不得覿我面。

猶大對曰、其人嚴切告我曰、如爾季弟不偕爾來、不得覿我面、

But Judah said to him,“ The man warned us solemnly,‘ You will not see my face again unless your brother is with you.’

But Judah said to him,“ The man gave us a strong warning. He said,‘ You won’t see my face again unless your brother Benjamin is with you.’

But Judah said to him,“ The man solemnly warned us, saying,‘ You shall not see my face unless your brother is with you.’

But Judah said,“ The man was serious when he warned us,‘ You won’t see my face again unless your brother is with you.’

But Judah said to him,“ The man specifically warned us,‘ You will not see me again unless your brother is with you.’

But Judah spoke to him, saying,“ The man solemnly warned us, saying,‘ You shall not see my face unless your brother is with you.’

And Judah spake unto him, saying, The man did solemnly protest unto us, saying, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

But Judah said to him,“ The man specifically warned us:‘ You will not see me again unless your brother is with you.’

And Judah spake unto him, saying, The man did solemnly protest unto us, saying, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother[ be] with you.

But Judah said to him,“ The man solemnly warned us,‘ You will not see my face unless your brother is with you.’

Judah spoke to him, saying,“ The man solemnly warned us, saying,‘ You shall not see my face, unless your brother is with you.’

You said to your servants, however,‘ Unless your youngest brother comes down with you, you will not see my face again.’

But if you do not send him, we will not go down; for the man said to us,‘ You will not see my face unless your brother is with you.’ ”

Absalom answered Joab,“ Behold, I sent for you, saying,‘ Come here, so that I may send you to the king, to say,“ Why have I come from Geshur? It would be better for me still to be there.” ’ Now then, let me see the king’s face, and if there is guilt in me, he can have me executed.”

“ And now behold, I know that all of you, among whom I went about preaching the kingdom, will no longer see my face.

However, the king said,“ He shall return to his own house, but he shall not see my face.” So Absalom returned to his own house and did not see the king’s face.

by this you will be tested: by the life of Pharaoh, you shall not leave this place unless your youngest brother comes here!Send one of you and have him get your brother, while you remain confined, so that your words may be tested, whether there is truth in you. But if not, by the life of Pharaoh, you are certainly spies!”So he put them all together in prison for three days.Now Joseph said to them on the third day,“ Do this and live, for I fear God:if you are honest men, let one of your brothers be confined in your prison; but as for the rest of you, go, carry grain for the famine of your households,and bring your youngest brother to me, so that your words may be verified, and you will not die.” And they did so.

Now Absalom lived two full years in Jerusalem, yet he did not see the king’s face.

grieving especially over the word which he had spoken, that they would not see his face again. And they were accompanying him to the ship.

But the man, the lord of the land, said to us,‘ By this I will know that you are honest men: leave one of your brothers with me and take grain for the famine of your households, and go.But bring your youngest brother to me so that I may know that you are not spies, but honest men. And he said,“ Good! I will make a covenant with you, only I require one thing of you, namely, that you shall not see my face unless you first bring Michal, Saul’s daughter, when you come to see me.”

I have certainly seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their groaning, and I have come down to rescue them; and now come, I will send you to Egypt.’
