They replied,“ Your servant our father is still alive and well.” And they bowed down, prostrating themselves before him.

They said,“ Your servant our father is well; he is still alive.” And they bowed their heads and prostrated themselves.

“ Yes,” they replied.“ Our father, your servant, is alive and well.” And they bowed low again.

They answered,“ Your servant our father is well. He is still alive.” And they knelt low and paid homage to him.

And they said,“ Your servant our father is well; he is still alive.” Then they bowed down again in homage.

And they answered,“ Your servant our father is in good health; he is still alive.” And they bowed their heads down and prostrated themselves.

And they said, Thy servant our father is well, he is yet alive. And they bowed the head, and made obeisance.

They answered,“ Your servant our father is well. He is still alive.” And they bowed down to honor him.

And they answered, Thy servant our father[ is] in good health, he[ is] yet alive. And they bowed down their heads, and made obeisance.

“ Your servant our father is well,” they replied.“ He is still alive.” They bowed down in humility.

They said,“ Your servant, our father, is well. He is still alive.” They bowed down humbly.

We were tying up bundles of grain out in the field. Suddenly my bundle stood up straight. Your bundles gathered around my bundle and bowed down to it.”

When Joseph came home, they gave him the gifts they had brought into the house. They bowed down low in front of him.

After Jehoiada died, the officials of Judah came to King Joash. They bowed down to him. He listened to them.

On the third day a man arrived from Saul’s camp. His clothes were torn. He had dust on his head. When he came to David, he fell to the ground to show him respect.

The woman from Tekoa went to the king. She bowed down with her face toward the ground. She did it to show him respect. She said,“ Your Majesty, please help me!”

So Moses went out to meet his father- in- law. Moses bowed down and kissed him. They greeted each other. Then they went into the tent.

Then Joseph had another dream. He told it to his brothers.“ Listen,” he said.“ I had another dream. This time the sun and moon and 11 stars were bowing down to me.”He told his father as well as his brothers. Then his father rebuked him. He said,“ What about this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers really do that? Will we really come and bow down to the ground in front of you?”
