曰、吾主之僕我父、尚在無恙、遂鞠躬而拜、

曰、爾之僕我父、尚在無恙、遂鞠躬而拜、

They replied,“ Your servant our father is still alive and well.” And they bowed down, prostrating themselves before him.

They replied,“ Your servant our father is still alive and well.” And they bowed down to show him honor.

They said,“ Your servant our father is well; he is still alive.” And they bowed their heads and prostrated themselves.

“ Yes,” they replied.“ Our father, your servant, is alive and well.” And they bowed low again.

They answered,“ Your servant our father is well. He is still alive.” And they knelt low and paid homage to him.

And they said,“ Your servant our father is well; he is still alive.” Then they bowed down again in homage.

And they answered,“ Your servant our father is in good health; he is still alive.” And they bowed their heads down and prostrated themselves.

And they said, Thy servant our father is well, he is yet alive. And they bowed the head, and made obeisance.

They answered,“ Your servant our father is well. He is still alive.” And they bowed down to honor him.

And they answered, Thy servant our father[ is] in good health, he[ is] yet alive. And they bowed down their heads, and made obeisance.

“ Your servant our father is well,” they replied.“ He is still alive.” They bowed down in humility.

They said,“ Your servant, our father, is well. He is still alive.” They bowed down humbly.

我們正在田間捆麥子，我的麥捆忽然站立起來，你們的麥捆都來圍著我的下拜。”

約瑟回到家裡，他們就把手中的禮物帶進屋裡送給他，又俯伏在地向他下拜。

耶何耶大死後，猶大的領袖們來朝拜王；王聽從了他們的主意。

第三天，忽然有一個人從掃羅的營回來，衣服撕裂，頭上蒙灰。這人一來到大衛面前，就俯伏在地上叩拜他。

提哥亞婦人進去見王，俯伏在地，叩拜他，說：“王啊！求你幫助我。”

拔示巴向王俯伏叩拜，王問：“你要甚麼？”

摩西出來迎接他的岳父，向他下拜，與他親吻，彼此問候，然後一起進了帳棚。

後來約瑟又作了一個夢，也把夢向哥哥們述說了。他說：“我又作了一個夢，我夢見太陽、月亮和十一顆星向我下拜。”約瑟把夢向他父親和哥哥們述說了，他父親就斥責他，說：“你所作的這夢是甚麼夢呢？我和你母親，以及你的兄弟，真的要來俯伏在地向你下拜嗎？”
