But at the place where we stopped for the night we opened our sacks and each of us found his silver— the exact weight— in the mouth of his sack. So we have brought it back with us.

手里要带双倍的银子，把退还在你们袋口的银子亲手带回去；或许那是个失误。

你们在外邦人中要品行端正，好让那些人，虽然毁谤你们是作恶的，会因看见你们的好行为而在鉴察的日子归荣耀给上帝。

不过，要以温柔、敬畏的心回答。要存无亏的良心，使你们在何事上被毁谤，就在何事上使那些凌辱你们在基督里有好品行的人自觉羞愧。

不可贪爱钱财，要以自己所有的为满足，因为上帝曾说：“我绝不撇下你，也绝不丢弃你。”

到了住宿的地方，有一个人打开袋子，要拿饲料喂驴，就看见自己的银子，看哪，仍在袋口上。他对兄弟们说：“我的银子退回来了，看哪，还在我袋子里！”他们战战兢兢，心都快跳出来了，彼此说：“上帝向我们做的是什么呢？”他们来到迦南地他们的父亲雅各那里，把所遭遇的事都告诉他，说：“那地的主对我们说严厉的话，把我们当作窥探那地的奸细。我们对他说：‘我们是诚实的人，并不是奸细。我们本是兄弟十二人，都是同一个父亲的儿子，有一个不在了，最小的今日和我们父亲在迦南地。’那地的主对我们说：‘只有这样我才知道你们是诚实的人：留你们兄弟中的一个在我这里，你们带粮食回去，救你们家的饥荒，再把你们最小的弟弟带到我这里来，我就知道你们不是奸细，是诚实的人。然后，我就把你们的兄弟交还你们，你们也可以在此地做买卖。’”后来他们倒空袋子，看哪，各人的银囊都在袋子里。他们和父亲看见银囊就都害怕。

不要以恶报恶，众人以为美的事要留心去做。

于是，他们拿着那些礼物，手里也带双倍的银子，并且带着便雅悯，动身下到埃及，站在约瑟面前。

你们除了彼此相爱，对任何人都不可亏欠什么，因为那爱人的就成全了律法。

请你们为我们祷告；因为我们自觉良心无亏，愿意凡事按正道而行。
