歸至旅邸、啟囊、見各人之金猶在、其數無缺、今我反之、

歸至憩息所、啟囊見我儕之金猶在、計其數、無少缺、今我反之。

歸至旅館時、啟囊見各人之銀猶在、衡其分量如舊數、今我攜之反、

But at the place where we stopped for the night we opened our sacks and each of us found his silver— the exact weight— in the mouth of his sack. So we have brought it back with us.

We opened our sacks at the place where we stopped for the night. Each of us found in our sacks the exact amount of the money we had paid. So we’ve brought it back with us.

And when we came to the lodging place we opened our sacks, and there was each man’s money in the mouth of his sack, our money in full weight. So we have brought it again with us,

But as we were returning home, we stopped for the night and opened our sacks. Then we discovered that each man’s money— the exact amount paid— was in the top of his sack! Here it is; we have brought it back with us.

When we came to the place where we lodged for the night and opened our bags of grain, each one’s silver was at the top of his bag! It was the full amount of our silver, and we have brought it back with us.

and it happened when we came to the campsite, that we opened our sacks, and behold, each man’s money was in the opening of his sack, our money in full. So we have brought it back in our hand.

But when we came to the place where we spent the night, we opened our sacks and each of us found his money– the full amount– in the mouth of his sack. So we have returned it.

你們還要帶雙倍的錢，好歸還上次留在你們口袋中的錢，那可能是弄錯了。

你們在異教徒當中要品行端正。這樣，儘管他們毀謗你們是作惡的人，但看見你們的好行為，也會在主來的日子把榮耀歸給上帝。

但態度要溫和恭敬，存無愧的良心。這樣，那些對你們因信基督而有的好品行妄加誣衊的人會自覺羞愧。

不要貪愛錢財，要對自己擁有的知足，因為上帝說過：「我永不撇下你，也不離棄你。」

他們來到一處住宿的地方，其中一人打開口袋拿飼料餵驢，卻發現裡面有錢，就對其他弟兄說：「你們看，我的錢又回來了，在我的口袋裡！」他們心驚膽戰地彼此議論說：「上帝這樣對待我們是什麼意思呢？」他們回到迦南父親雅各那裡，把事情的經過告訴了他，說：「埃及的宰相對我們說話很凶，還把我們當成奸細。我們對他說，『我們是誠實人，不是奸細。我們有十二個同胞弟兄，其中有一個已經去世，年紀最小的跟父親留在迦南。』那人卻對我們說，『我要看看你們是不是誠實人，你們把一個弟兄留在我這裡，其他人帶糧食回去接濟家人吧。但你們要把最小的弟弟帶來見我，這樣我便知道你們不是奸細，是誠實人。我就會釋放你們的弟兄，你們也可以在這裡自由地買賣。』」後來他們倒口袋時，發現每個人買糧的錢袋都在自己的口袋裡，他們和父親見此情形，都害怕起來。

不要以惡報惡。要尊重別人，眾人都認為好的事，應該竭力去做。

於是，他們就帶著便雅憫、禮物和雙倍的錢去埃及見約瑟。

凡事都不可虧欠人，但在彼此相愛方面要常常覺得做得不夠。一個人愛別人，就成全了律法。

請為我們禱告，因為我們自信良心無愧，凡事都願意遵行正道。
