So when they had eaten all the grain they had brought from Egypt, their father said to them,“ Go back and buy us a little more food.”

After a while Jacob’s family had eaten all the grain the brothers had brought from Egypt. So their father said to them,“ Go back. Buy us a little more food.”

And when they had eaten the grain that they had brought from Egypt, their father said to them,“ Go again, buy us a little food.”

When the grain they had brought from Egypt was almost gone, Jacob said to his sons,“ Go back and buy us a little more food.”

When they had used up the grain they had brought back from Egypt, their father said to them,“ Go back and buy us a little food.”

So it came about, when they had finished eating the grain which they had brought from Egypt, that their father said to them,“ Go back, buy us a little food.”

And it came to pass, when they had eaten up the grain which they had brought from Egypt, that their father said to them,“ Go back, buy us a little food.”

When they finished eating the grain they had brought from Egypt, their father said to them,“ Return, buy us a little more food.”

雅各見伊及有榖、謂眾子曰、爾曹何相對而望、又曰、我聞伊及有榖、爾可下彼為我糴之、以保生命、免於死亡、

主歟、昔我來此糴糧、

然虔敬若兼知足、是大益也、我儕無所攜而出世、亦無所攜而去世、明矣、有衣食即當知足、

人若不顧親屬、是棄道也、較之不信者更惡、不顧家人則尤甚、○

若遣弟偕我儕、則我儕可往為爾糴糧、

心欲購田、得購則購、以己手操作所得之貲、栽植葡萄園、

心驕必敗、氣傲必躓、

多有貨財、煩擾不安、不如少有而畏主、
