When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the steward of his house,“ Take these men to my house, slaughter an animal and prepare a meal; they are to eat with me at noon.”

When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he spoke to the manager of his house.“ Take these men to my house,” he said.“ Kill an animal and prepare a meal. I want them to eat with me at noon.”

When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the steward of his house,“ Bring the men into the house, and slaughter an animal and make ready, for the men are to dine with me at noon.”

When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the manager of his household,“ These men will eat with me this noon. Take them inside the palace. Then go slaughter an animal, and prepare a big feast.”

When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to his steward,“ Take the men to my house. Slaughter an animal and prepare it, for they will eat with me at noon.”

Now Joseph gave these instructions to the steward of his house:“ Fill the men’s sacks with as much food as they can carry, and put each man’s silver in the mouth of his sack. (niv)

So they went up to Joseph’s steward and spoke to him at the entrance to the house. (niv)

Isaac then made a feast for them, and they ate and drank. (niv)

She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine; she has also set her table. (niv)

He offered a sacrifice there in the hill country and invited his relatives to a meal. After they had eaten, they spent the night there. (niv)

Why should I take my bread and water, and the meat I have slaughtered for my shearers, and give it to men coming from who knows where?” (niv)

Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned.From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field. (niv)

He said to the senior servant in his household, the one in charge of all that he had,“ Put your hand under my thigh.I want you to swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you will not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I am living,but will go to my country and my own relatives and get a wife for my son Isaac.”The servant asked him,“ What if the woman is unwilling to come back with me to this land? Shall I then take your son back to the country you came from?”“ Make sure that you do not take my son back there,” Abraham said.“ The Lord, the God of heaven, who brought me out of my father’s household and my native land and who spoke to me and promised me on oath, saying,‘ To your offspring I will give this land’— he will send his angel before you so that you can get a wife for my son from there.If the woman is unwilling to come back with you, then you will be released from this oath of mine. Only do not take my son back there.”So the servant put his hand under the thigh of his master Abraham and swore an oath to him concerning this matter.Then the servant left, taking with him ten of his master’s camels loaded with all kinds of good things from his master. He set out for Aram Naharaim and made his way to the town of Nahor. (niv)

But Abram said,“ Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?” (niv)

They had not gone far from the city when Joseph said to his steward,“ Go after those men at once, and when you catch up with them, say to them,‘ Why have you repaid good with evil? (niv)

The child grew and was weaned, and on the day Isaac was weaned Abraham held a great feast. (niv)
