When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the steward of his house,“ Take these men to my home, and slaughter an animal and make ready; for these men will dine with me at noon.”

When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the steward of his house,“ Take these men to my house, slaughter an animal and prepare a meal; they are to eat with me at noon.”

When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he spoke to the manager of his house.“ Take these men to my house,” he said.“ Kill an animal and prepare a meal. I want them to eat with me at noon.”

And he commanded the steward of his house, saying,“ Fill the men’s sacks with food, as much as they can carry, and put each man’s money in the mouth of his sack.

When they drew near to the steward of Joseph’s house, they talked with him at the door of the house,

So he made them a feast, and they ate and drank.

She has slaughtered her meat, She has mixed her wine, She has also furnished her table.

Then Jacob offered a sacrifice on the mountain, and called his brethren to eat bread. And they ate bread and stayed all night on the mountain.

Shall I then take my bread and my water and my meat that I have killed for my shearers, and give it to men when I do not know where they are from?”

So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority.So it was, from the time that he had made him overseer of his house and all that he had, that the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the Lord was on all that he had in the house and in the field.

So Abraham said to the oldest servant of his house, who ruled over all that he had,“ Please, put your hand under my thigh,and I will make you swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and the God of the earth, that you will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell;but you shall go to my country and to my family, and take a wife for my son Isaac.”And the servant said to him,“ Perhaps the woman will not be willing to follow me to this land. Must I take your son back to the land from which you came?”But Abraham said to him,“ Beware that you do not take my son back there.The Lord God of heaven, who took me from my father’s house and from the land of my family, and who spoke to me and swore to me, saying,‘ To your descendants I give this land,’ He will send His angel before you, and you shall take a wife for my son from there.And if the woman is not willing to follow you, then you will be released from this oath; only do not take my son back there.”So the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and swore to him concerning this matter.Then the servant took ten of his master’s camels and departed, for all his master’s goods were in his hand. And he arose and went to Mesopotamia, to the city of Nahor.

But Abram said,“ Lord GOD, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?”

When they had gone out of the city, and were not yet far off, Joseph said to his steward,“ Get up, follow the men; and when you overtake them, say to them,‘ Why have you repaid evil for good?

So the child grew and was weaned. And Abraham made a great feast on the same day that Isaac was weaned.
