And when Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the ruler of his house, Bring[ these] men home, and slay, and make ready; for[ these] men shall dine with me at noon.

When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the steward of his house,“ Take these men to my house, slaughter an animal and prepare a meal; they are to eat with me at noon.”

And they came near to the steward of Joseph’s house, and they communed with him at the door of the house,

And he made them a feast, and they did eat and drink.

She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.

Then Jacob offered sacrifice upon the mount, and called his brethren to eat bread: and they did eat bread, and tarried all night in the mount.

Shall I then take my bread, and my water, and my flesh that I have killed for my shearers, and give[ it] unto men, whom I know not whence they[ be]?

And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all[ that] he had he put into his hand.And it came to pass from the time[ that] he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.

And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh:And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac.And the servant said unto him, Peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land: must I needs bring thy son again unto the land from whence thou camest?And Abraham said unto him, Beware thou that thou bring not my son thither again.The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.And if the woman will not be willing to follow thee, then thou shalt be clear from this my oath: only bring not my son thither again.And the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and sware to him concerning that matter.And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master[ were] in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor.

And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house[ is] this Eliezer of Damascus?

[ And] when they were gone out of the city,[ and] not[ yet] far off, Joseph said unto his steward, Up, follow after the men; and when thou dost overtake them, say unto them, Wherefore have ye rewarded evil for good?

And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the[ same] day that Isaac was weaned.
