Commit your future to the LORD! Trust in him, and he will act on your behalf.He will vindicate you in broad daylight, and publicly defend your just cause.Wait patiently for the LORD! Wait confidently for him! Do not fret over the apparent success of a sinner, a man who carries out wicked schemes!

The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD like channels of water; he turns it wherever he wants.

Then God said to him,“ I am the sovereign God. Be fruitful and multiply! A nation– even a company of nations– will descend from you; kings will be among your descendants!

O LORD, show us your loyal love! Bestow on us your deliverance!
