Then Joseph remembered the dreams he had dreamed about them, and he said to them,“ You are spies; you have come to see if our land is vulnerable!”

Then he remembered his dreams about them and said to them,“ You are spies! You have come to see where our land is unprotected.”

Then Joseph remembered his dreams about them. So he said to them,“ You are spies! You have come to see the places where our land isn’t guarded very well.”

And Joseph remembered the dreams that he had dreamed of them. And he said to them,“ You are spies; you have come to see the nakedness of the land.”

And he remembered the dreams he’d had about them many years before. He said to them,“ You are spies! You have come to see how vulnerable our land has become.”

Joseph remembered his dreams about them and said to them,“ You are spies. You have come to see the weakness of the land.”

And Joseph remembered the dreams which he had about them, and he said to them,“ You are spies; you have come to look at the undefended parts of our land.”

Then Joseph remembered the dreams which he had dreamed about them, and said to them,“ You are spies! You have come to see the nakedness of the land!”

And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them, and said unto them, Ye are spies; to see the nakedness of the land ye are come.

Joseph had a dream, and when he told his brothers about it, they hated him even more.He said to them,“ Listen to this dream I had:There we were, binding sheaves of grain in the middle of the field. Suddenly my sheaf rose up and stood upright and your sheaves surrounded my sheaf and bowed down to it!”Then his brothers asked him,“ Do you really think you will rule over us or have dominion over us?” They hated him even more because of his dream and because of what he said.Then he had another dream, and told it to his brothers.“ Look,” he said.“ I had another dream. The sun, the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

the spies spotted a man leaving the city. They said to him,“ If you show us a secret entrance into the city, we will reward you.”

So the young spies went and brought out Rahab, her father, mother, brothers, and all who belonged to her. They brought out her whole family and took them to a place outside the Israelite camp.

And the LORD sent a plague on the people because they had made the calf– the one Aaron made.

These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to investigate the land. And Moses gave Hoshea son of Nun the name Joshua.When Moses sent them to investigate the land of Canaan, he told them,“ Go up through the Negev, and then go up into the hill countryand see what the land is like, and whether the people who live in it are strong or weak, few or many,and whether the land they live in is good or bad, and whether the cities they inhabit are like camps or fortified cities,and whether the land is rich or poor, and whether or not there are forests in it. And be brave, and bring back some of the fruit of the land.” Now it was the time of year for the first ripe grapes.

But bring your youngest brother back to me so I will know that you are honest men and not spies. Then I will give your brother back to you and you may move about freely in the land.’”

“ Send out men to investigate the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites. You are to send one man from each ancestral tribe, each one a leader among them.”

By faith Rahab the prostitute escaped the destruction of the disobedient, because she welcomed the spies in peace.

Then they watched him carefully and sent spies who pretended to be sincere. They wanted to take advantage of what he might say so that they could deliver him up to the authority and jurisdiction of the governor.

Joshua son of Nun sent two spies out from Shittim secretly and instructed them:“ Find out what you can about the land, especially Jericho.” They stopped at the house of a prostitute named Rahab and spent the night there.

“ The man, the lord of the land, spoke harshly to us and treated us as if we were spying on the land.But we said to him,‘ We are honest men; we are not spies!

David sent scouts and verified that Saul had indeed arrived.

One of you must go and get your brother, while the rest of you remain in prison. In this way your words may be tested to see if you are telling the truth. If not, then, as surely as Pharaoh lives, you are spies!”
