Then he remembered his dreams about them and said to them,“ You are spies! You have come to see where our land is unprotected.”

Then Joseph remembered his dreams about them. So he said to them,“ You are spies! You have come to see the places where our land isn’t guarded very well.”

And Joseph remembered the dreams that he had dreamed of them. And he said to them,“ You are spies; you have come to see the nakedness of the land.”

And he remembered the dreams he’d had about them many years before. He said to them,“ You are spies! You have come to see how vulnerable our land has become.”

Joseph remembered his dreams about them and said to them,“ You are spies. You have come to see the weakness of the land.”

Then Joseph remembered the dreams which he had dreamed about them, and said to them,“ You are spies! You have come to see the nakedness of the land!”

And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them, and said unto them, Ye are spies; to see the nakedness of the land ye are come.

Then Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him even more.He said to them,“ Please listen to this dream which I have had;for behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and behold, my sheaf stood up and also remained standing; and behold, your sheaves gathered around and bowed down to my sheaf.”Then his brothers said to him,“ Are you actually going to reign over us? Or are you really going to rule over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.Then he had yet another dream, and informed his brothers of it, and said,“ Behold, I have had yet another dream; and behold, the sun and the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

And the spies saw a man coming out of the city, and they said to him,“ Please show us the entrance to the city, and we will treat you kindly.”

So the young men who were spies went in and brought out Rahab, her father, her mother, her brothers, and all she had; they also brought out all her relatives, and placed them outside the camp of Israel.

Then the Lord struck the people with a plague, because of what they did with the calf which Aaron had made.

These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land; but Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun, Joshua.When Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, he said to them,“ Go up there into the Negev; then go up into the hill country.See what the land is like, and whether the people who live in it are strong or weak, whether they are few or many.And how is the land in which they live, is it good or bad? And how are the cities in which they live, are the people in open camps or in fortifications?And how is the land, is it productive or unproductive? Are there trees in it or not? And show yourselves courageous and get some of the fruit of the land.” Now the time was the season of the first ripe grapes.

But bring your youngest brother to me so that I may know that you are not spies, but honest men. I will give your brother to you, and you may trade in the land.’ ”

“ Send out men for yourself to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am going to give the sons of Israel; you shall send a man from each of their fathers’ tribes, every one a leader among them.”

By faith the prostitute Rahab did not perish along with those who were disobedient, after she had welcomed the spies in peace.

And so they watched Him closely, and sent spies who pretended to be righteous, in order that they might catch Him in some statement, so that they could hand Him over to the jurisdiction and authority of the governor.

David sent out spies, and he learned that Saul was definitely coming.

Send one of you and have him get your brother, while you remain confined, so that your words may be tested, whether there is truth in you. But if not, by the life of Pharaoh, you are certainly spies!”
