這樣看來，派遣我到這裡來的，不是你們，而是神。他立我作法老之父，作他全家之主，又作埃及全地的管轄者。

你要管理我的家；我所有的子民都要順從你的話；只有在寶座上的我比你大。」法老又對約瑟說：「你看，我已經委派你管理埃及全地。」

當埃及全地也有饑荒時，百姓就向法老哀求糧食。法老對所有埃及人說：「你們到約瑟那裡去，他對你們怎麼說，你們就怎麼做。」那時饑荒遍及了整個地面。約瑟打開了各處的糧倉，售糧給埃及人，因為埃及地的饑荒非常嚴重。

他舉目觀看，看哪，有三個人在他對面站著！他一看見，就從帳篷的入口跑去迎接他們，俯伏於地，

看哪，我要使那些屬於撒旦會堂的，就是那些自稱是猶太人，其實不是猶太人，而是說謊的人——看哪，我要使他們來，在你腳前下拜；他們就會知道我已經愛了你，

他們告訴他說：「約瑟還活著，而且作了埃及全地的管轄者。」雅各的心驚呆了，因為他簡直不能相信他們。

那兩位天使在傍晚來到所多瑪；當時羅得正坐在所多瑪城門口。羅得一見他們，就起身迎接，臉伏於地下拜，
