Leave room for God to show his anger. It is written,“ I am the God who judges people. I will pay them back,”( Deuteronomy 32:35) says the Lord.Do just the opposite. Scripture says,“ If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. By doing those things, you will pile up burning coals on their heads.”( Proverbs 25:21, 22)Don’t let evil overcome you. Overcome evil by doing good.

Joseph told the manager of his house what to do.“ Fill the men’s sacks with as much food as they can carry,” he said.“ Put each man’s money in his sack.Then put my silver cup in the youngest one’s sack. Put it there along with the money he paid for his grain.” So the manager did what Joseph told him to do.

But here is what I tell you. Love your enemies. Pray for those who hurt you.

But put God’s kingdom first. Do what he wants you to do. Then all those things will also be given to you.

“ Come, all you who are thirsty. Come and drink the water I offer to you. You who do not have any money, come. Buy and eat the grain I give you. Come and buy wine and milk. You will not have to pay anything for it.
