雅各見埃及有糧，就對兒子們說：「你們為什麼彼此乾瞪眼呢？」他又說：「看哪，我聽說埃及有糧。你們當下到那裡去，從那裡為我們買糧，使我們得以存活，不至於死。」

約瑟送給他父親公驢十頭，馱著埃及的美物；母驢十頭，馱著五穀、餅，以及他父親路上用的食物。

為要開瞎眼之人的眼，領被囚的出監獄，領坐在黑暗中的出牢房。
