And he put them all in custody for three days.

So Joseph kept all of them under guard for three days.

For they disciplined us for a little while as seemed good to them, but he does so for our benefit, that we may share his holiness.

They laid hands on the apostles and put them in a public jail.

So they placed him in custody until they were able to make a clear legal decision for themselves based on words from the mouth of the LORD.

So they seized them and put them in jail until the next day( for it was already evening).

They will be imprisoned in a pit, locked up in a prison, and after staying there for a long time, they will be punished.

Pharaoh was enraged with his servants, and he put me in prison in the house of the captain of the guards– me and the chief baker.

You are good to your servant, O LORD, just as you promised.
