約瑟說：「我說你們是奸細一點不錯。

約瑟對他們說：“我剛才對你們說：‘你們是間諜。’這話實在不錯。

約瑟對他們說：『我剛才對你們說「你們是探子」，這話正對呀。

約瑟對他們說：「我已經說了，你們就是奸細。

約瑟曰、汝為偵者、我言誠是、

約瑟曰、爾誠偵者、我言不虛。

約瑟曰、爾為偵者、我言誠是、

Joseph said to them,“ It is just as I told you: You are spies!

Joseph said to them,“ I still say you are spies!

But Joseph said to them,“ It is as I said to you. You are spies.

But Joseph insisted,“ As I said, you are spies!

Then Joseph said to them,“ I have spoken:‘ You are spies!’

Yet Joseph said to them,“ It is as I said to you, you are spies;

But Joseph said to them,“ It is as I spoke to you, saying,‘ You are spies!’

And Joseph said unto them, That is it that I spake unto you, saying, Ye are spies:

Then Joseph said to them,“ I have spoken:‘ You are spies!’

And Joseph said unto them, That[ is it] that I spake unto you, saying, Ye[ are] spies:

But Joseph told them,“ It is just as I said to you: You are spies!

Joseph said to them,“ It is like I told you, saying,‘ You are spies!’

His anger burns against me; he counts me among his enemies. (niv)

Then he remembered his dreams about them and said to them,“ You are spies! You have come to see where our land is unprotected.”“ No, my lord,” they answered.“ Your servants have come to buy food.We are all the sons of one man. Your servants are honest men, not spies.” (niv)

Why do you hide your face and consider me your enemy? (niv)

Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon.A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out,“ Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon- possessed and suffering terribly.”Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him,“ Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”He answered,“ I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”The woman came and knelt before him.“ Lord, help me!” she said.He replied,“ It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”“ Yes it is, Lord,” she said.“ Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”Then Jesus said to her,“ Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment. (niv)
