When Jacob learned that there was grain in Egypt, he said to his sons,“ Why do you just keep looking at each other?”

Jacob found out that there was grain in Egypt. So he said to his sons,“ Why do you just keep looking at one another?”

雅各聽見在埃及有糧，就打發我們的祖宗初次往那裏去。

過了七年，那婦人從非利士人的地回來，就出去為自己的房屋田地哀求王。那時王正與神人的僕人基哈西談話，說：「你把以利沙所做的一切大事告訴我。」

以色列人的工頭聽見「你們每天做磚的工作一點也不可減少」，就知道惹上禍了。

眾百姓見雷轟、閃電、角聲、山上冒煙，百姓看見就都戰抖，遠遠站着。

耶和華對約書亞說：「起來！你的臉為何這樣俯伏呢？

相反地，他們看見了主託付我傳福音給未受割禮的人，正如主託付彼得傳福音給受割禮的人；

以法蓮見自己有病，猶大見自己有傷，以法蓮就前往亞述，差遣人去見大王；他卻不能醫治你們，不能治好你們的傷。

他又說：「看哪，我聽見埃及有糧，你們可以下到那裏，從那裏為我們買些糧來，我們就可以存活，不至於死。」

我們為何靜坐不動呢？我們當聚集，進入堅固城，在那裏靜默不言；因為耶和華－我們的上帝使我們靜默不言，又將苦水給我們喝，都因我們得罪了耶和華。

以利亞害怕，就起來逃命，到了猶大的別是巴，把僕人留在那裏。

起來，這是你當辦的事，我們必支持你，你當奮勇而行。」

各地的人都去埃及，到約瑟那裏買糧食，因為全地的饑荒非常嚴重。

七個荒年就來了，正如約瑟所說的。各地都有饑荒，惟獨埃及全地有糧食。
