But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so. (niv)

No king, however great and mighty, has ever asked such a thing of any magician or enchanter or astrologer.What the king asks is too difficult. No one can reveal it to the king except the gods, and they do not live among humans.” (niv)

The officials of Zoan are nothing but fools; the wise counselors of Pharaoh give senseless advice. “ Keep on, then, with your magic spells and with your many sorceries, which you have labored at since childhood. Let your astrologers come forward, those stargazers who make predictions month by month, let them save you from what is coming upon you. (niv)

Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and action. (niv)
