讓他喝了，就忘記他的貧窮，不再記得他的苦楚。

在地上為自己求福的，必憑真實的上帝求福；在地上起誓的，必指着真實的上帝起誓。因為從前的患難已被遺忘，從我眼前消逝。」

我必不長久控訴，也不永遠懷怒，因為我雖使靈性發昏，我也造了人的氣息。

我未到埃及你那裏之前，你在埃及地所生的以法蓮和瑪拿西這兩個兒子，現在他們是我的，正如呂便和西緬是我的一樣。

隨後又有七個荒年，甚至埃及地的人都忘了先前的豐收，這地必被饑荒所滅。

然後，約瑟牽着他們兩個，帶到父親跟前，右手牽以法蓮到以色列的左邊，左手牽瑪拿西到以色列的右邊。以色列卻伸出右手來，按在次子以法蓮的頭上，又交叉伸出左手來，按在長子瑪拿西的頭上。

女子啊，要傾聽，要思想，要側耳而聽！不要記念你本族和你父家，

約瑟對父親說：「我父，不是這樣。這個才是長子，請你把右手按在他頭上。」他父親卻不肯，說：「我知道，我兒，我知道。他也要成為一族，也要強大。可是他的弟弟將來比他還要強大；他弟弟的後裔要成為許多國家。」以色列就在當日為他們祝福，說：「以色列人要指着你們祝福，說：『願上帝使你如以法蓮、瑪拿西一樣。』」於是他立以法蓮在瑪拿西之上。

你將我的哀哭變為跳舞，脫去我的麻衣，為我披上喜樂，
