He had him ride in a chariot as his second-in-command, and people shouted before him,“ Make way!” Thus he put him in charge of the whole land of Egypt.

He also had him ride in a chariot. Joseph was now next in command after Pharaoh. People went in front of Joseph and shouted,“ Get down on your knees!” By doing all these things, Pharaoh put Joseph in charge of the whole land of Egypt.

Then he had Joseph ride in the chariot reserved for his second in command. And wherever Joseph went, the command was shouted,“ Kneel down!” So Pharaoh put Joseph in charge of all Egypt.

So it was not you who sent me here, but God. He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house and ruler over all the land of Egypt.

Now Joseph was governor over the land. He was the one who sold to all the people of the land. And Joseph’s brothers came and bowed themselves before him with their faces to the ground.

And they told him,“ Joseph is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt.” And his heart became numb, for he did not believe them.

and rescued him out of all his afflictions and gave him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who made him ruler over Egypt and over all his household.

so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

let royal robes be brought, which the king has worn, and the horse that the king has ridden, and on whose head a royal crown is set.And let the robes and the horse be handed over to one of the king’s most noble officials. Let them dress the man whom the king delights to honor, and let them lead him on the horse through the square of the city, proclaiming before him:‘ Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor.’”

“ The man, the lord of the land, spoke roughly to us and took us to be spies of the land.

Then the man, the lord of the land, said to us,‘ By this I shall know that you are honest men: leave one of your brothers with me, and take grain for the famine of your households, and go your way.
