You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.”

你见过办事能干的人吗？他必侍立在君王面前，必不会侍立在低微的人面前。

王立他执掌朝政，管理王一切所有的，使他可以随意捆绑王的群臣，把智慧教导王的长老。

救他脱离一切苦难，使他在埃及王法老面前，有智慧、得恩宠。法老立他为首相，管理埃及和法老的全家。

你们要用嘴亲吻子，否则他一发怒，你们就在路上灭亡，因为他的怒气快要发作。凡是投靠他的，都是有福的。

于是伯沙撒下令，人就把紫袍给但以理穿上，把金链戴在他的颈上，又宣告他在国中掌权，位列第三。

撒母耳拿了一瓶膏油，倒在扫罗的头上，又与他亲吻，说：“耶和华不是已经膏立你作他产业的领袖吗？

因为但以理里面有美好的灵性，所以各方面都比其他的监察司和总督优胜；王有意立他治理全国。

尼布甲尼撒王俯伏在地，向但以理下拜，又下令向但以理献上供物和香品。王对但以理说：“你们的神真是万神之神，万王之王，又是显明隐秘事的，因为你能把这隐秘的事显明出来。”于是王提升但以理，赐他许多贵重的礼物，使他管理巴比伦全省，又立他为总长，管理巴比伦所有的智慧人。

约瑟就得主人的欢心，服事他的主人。他主人指派他管理他的家，把自己所有的一切都交在他手里。自从主人指派约瑟管理他的家，和他所有的一切，耶和华就因约瑟的缘故，赐福给那埃及人的家。他家里和田间所有的一切，都蒙耶和华赐福。波提乏把自己所有的一切，都交在约瑟的手里。除了自己所吃的饭以外，其他的事他一概不管。约瑟生来体格壮健，容貌俊美。

这样看来，差派我到这里来的，不是你们，而是神。他立我作法老之父，作他全家之主，又作全埃及地的首相。你们要赶快上到我父亲那里去，对他说：‘你的儿子约瑟这样说：神立我作了全埃及的主；请你下到我这里来，不要耽延。

以致心中暗暗地受到迷惑，用自己的嘴亲手；

告诉他，说：“约瑟还在，并且作了埃及全地的首相。”雅各的心冷淡麻木，因为他不相信他们。
