You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.”

You will be in charge of my palace. All my people must obey your orders. I will be greater than you only because I’m the one who sits on the throne.”

你看那精明能干的人，他必侍立在君王面前，不会效力于泛泛之辈。

派他执掌朝政，管理国中的一切，有权柄管束王的大臣，将智慧传授王的长老。

救他脱离一切危难，又赐他过人的智慧，使他在埃及法老面前得到恩宠，官拜宰相治理全国，并管理王室。

要降服在祂儿子面前，免得祂发怒，你们便在罪恶中灭亡，因为祂的怒气将临。投靠祂的人有福了！

于是，伯沙撒下令给但以理穿上紫袍，戴上金项链，又宣告他在国中位居第三。

撒母耳把一瓶膏油倒在扫罗的头上，亲吻他，说：“耶和华已经膏立你做祂子民的首领。

因为但以理有非凡的心智，远超过其他总长和总督，王便考虑让他治理全国。

尼布甲尼撒王俯伏在地，向但以理下拜，并下令给他献供物和香。王对但以理说：“你们的上帝真是万神之神、万王之主、奥秘的启示者，因为你能揭开这个奥秘。”王赐但以理高官及许多贵重的礼物，派他治理巴比伦全省，管理巴比伦所有的智者。

就赏识他，让他服侍自己，派他管理自己家中一切事务。自从埃及人波提乏派约瑟管理自己家中一切事务以后，耶和华因为约瑟的缘故而赐福他主人家，使他主人家里和田间的一切都蒙福。于是，波提乏把一切事都交给约瑟管理，除了自己要吃的食物以外，什么也不管。约瑟体格健壮，相貌英俊。

这样看来，不是你们，是上帝把我送到这里的。祂使我成为法老的宰相，管理他的家和整个埃及。你们快回去告诉父亲，他儿子约瑟说，‘上帝已经使我管理整个埃及，请他立刻来这里。

就暗自心生迷恋，向它们吻手示敬，

对父亲说：“约瑟还活着，并且做了埃及的宰相。”雅各惊呆了，不敢相信他们的话。
