見七牝牛自河而上、肥且美、在蘆葦間囓芻、

when out of the river there came up seven cows, fat and sleek, and they grazed among the reeds.

Seven cows came up out of the river. They were fat and looked healthy. They were eating the tall grass growing along the river.

Seven cows, plump and attractive, came up out of the Nile and fed in the reed grass.

and I saw seven fat, healthy cows come up out of the river and begin grazing in the marsh grass.

巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒把犹大王约雅敬的儿子耶哥尼雅，和犹大的众领袖、工匠与铁匠从耶路撒冷掳到巴比伦去。这事以后，耶和华使我看见在耶和华的殿前面摆着两筐无花果。一筐是极好的无花果，像初熟的无花果；另一筐是极坏的无花果，坏到不能吃。于是耶和华问我：“耶利米啊，你看见什么？”我回答：“我看见无花果。那些好的无花果极好，坏的却极坏，坏到不能吃。”

“耶和华以色列的神这样说：‘被掳去的犹大人，就是我打发离开这地方到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看他们如同这些好的无花果一样，眷顾他们。

“但耶和华这样说：‘我怎样处置那些坏到不能吃的坏无花果，我也必照样对待犹大王西底家、他的众领袖和耶路撒冷的余民，不论是余剩在这地的，或是住在埃及地的。
